CelticFest Vancouver is busy putting the wheels in motion for the 8th Annual Celtic Festival in downtown Vancouver, March 10 and 14 - 18, 2012 with a special pre-festival event on Saturday, March 10. We’re planning 50+ live Celtic performances over 6 days featuring world-class Celtic recording artists, music workshops, champion step-dancers, the annual Whisky-tasting, film screenings and much more. The ever-popular St. Patrick’s Day Parade, is scheduled to march the downtown Vancouver streets on Sunday, March 18, 2012.
On March 17 & 18, the Celtic Village & Street Market will be back on Granville Street (between Georgia & Smithe Street).
The Village is the festival’s big free weekend street fair where friends and family come together to enjoy Celtic food, fare, arts, crafts, purveyors and great live music and entertainment on the free performance stage.
CelticFest Vancouver is the proud recipient of the 2007 Annual Appreciation Award and in 2005, was recognized with Vancouver’s BEST Special Event Award, by the Vancouver Board of Trade’s Spirit of Vancouver.
