For those of you who might think of Celts as the blue woad-painted warriors in Braveheart, we invite you to experience the high culture and artistry of Celtic music and dance, language, customs, and fine arts – all there for you on St. Paddy’s weekend at the Mahony and Sons Celtic Village on Granville St.
Come enjoy free music both days at the Doolin’s Music Stage. Visit the wolfhounds, get something good to eat, browse the fine crafts and wares at the Street Market, slide into one of our many partner pubs and enjoy some Celtic cheer.
Great family fun is to be had at the Kids’ Celtic Corner with song and dance, face painting and swordplay demos.
Be on the lookout for members of the fairy clan, our own Sean “The Canadian” Leprechaun and The Green Man.
Oh, and there should be some of those blue warriors around too!
