This popular annual event will be hosted by two knowledgeable spirit educators: Scotch whisky connoisseur Andrew Starritt of Cask Strength, and John Molloy from Ireland who’s based in Vancouver as the Jameson Irish Whiskey Brand Ambassador for Canada. In The Heather

In The Heather brings together three excellent Irish session musicians. Randy Vic is a multi-instrumentalist who has been active in the Irish music scene in the Pacific Northwest for many years, performing for dancers, concerts, teaching, and hosting a long running traditional session. Guitarist Paul Hawtin spent 12 years in Vancouver before relocating to Ontario, and while he was here he was a founding member of local favourites Cleia. Fiddler Stephani Custer began playing violin at the age of five and has performed at the Vancouver and Mission Folk Music Festivals, the Rogue Folk Club, and at dances, pubs, and coffeehouses from Boston to Hornby Island.
